BID PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS AND CONFORMITY <br />1.0 Services and Licensing (continued) <br />As outlined in subset d — no vehicle will be released, or items relinquished without proof of <br />identity, South Bend City stored automobile release form, and payment for services <br />rendered. ASAP Towing will bill vehicle owners for services provided — No services will be <br />billed to any city entity. <br />ASAP Towing agrees to notify the City within five (5) business days, in writing, of any owner <br />complaints of missing items or negligent damage to a vehicle authorized by the City to tow. <br />The company will abide by South Bend City Municipal Code — Chapter 20, Sec. 20-13 (C) and <br />Sec. 20-15 (C) which outlines the release of responsibility for The City, its agents, servants or <br />employees shall not be responsible or liable in any manner for the damage incurred in the <br />towing, storage, possession or disposition of such vehicle. <br />g. The company agrees to submit a criminal history and set of fingerprints for each employee <br />within five (5) business days of award of this contract and any new employee engaged <br />during the term of the contract. <br />BID PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS AND CONFORMITY <br />2.0 Equipment <br />Per proposal requirements, ASAP, owns, maintains, and has exclusive use and control of the vehicles <br />listed below. All vehicles named have the capacity to tow passenger, light truck, campers, a variety of <br />trailers, have a one -ton capacity, and rear dual wheels. Per state regulations, each company vehicle <br />prominently displays the name, logo, phone number and DOT number on both sides of the vehicle so it <br />can be easily identified. Vehicle markings are in accordance with Indiana Department of Motor Carrier <br />Services Division 49 CFR 390.21.
