In 2023,the <br /> other City initiatives. City awarded nine IGNITE Grants (Totalling <br /> $90,000) to South Bend Neighborhood <br /> Comprised of leadership from Neighborhood Associations to develop neighborhood- <br /> Associations,the Neighborhood Consortium based projects, including beautification, <br /> held four meetings in 2023, featuring neighborhood signage, public art, public <br /> representatives from over fourteen space enhancement, and more. In its first <br /> neighborhoods,the largest Neighborhood two years,the IGNITE Grant program has <br /> Consortium yet. Featured speakers for these distributed $170,000 in grants toward <br /> meetings included Venues, Parks, and Arts, Neighborhood Associations. <br /> Public Works, MACOG,Transpo, and the <br /> Mayor's Office. <br /> The Consortium also created an online map <br /> showing neighborhood boundaries in South <br /> Bend and a scannable QR code for residents <br /> to find the Neighborhood Association to <br /> which they belong. <br /> DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY INVESTMENT ENGAGEMENT&ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT <br />
