Promoting meaningful civic engagement; <br /> 2. Removing barriers to opportunities; and <br /> 3. Facilitating community partnerships. <br /> NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATIONS <br /> Neighborhood associations continue The Neighborhood Toolkit, developed in <br /> to be the backbone of organizing and 2022, continues to serve Neighborhood <br /> engaging residents in South Bend. Associations with necessary resources, grant <br /> 2023 saw the creation of three new opportunities, and tips to run and organize <br /> associations - Council Oak, Edgewater, a successful Neighborhood Association. <br /> and Twyckenham Hills - bringing the Featured as an online information guide, <br /> total number of associations to 25. EEE the Neighborhood Toolkit contains services <br /> staff attend neighborhood association for Neighborhood Associations that need <br /> meetings across the City on a monthly a Zoom account, information on becoming <br /> basis. a 501(c)(3) organization, and funding for <br /> printing and signage. <br /> To share resources and neighborhood <br /> information across the City, eleven <br /> Neighborhood Reports were distributed, <br /> with a total of over 6,900 views via <br /> email. Neighborhood reports provide <br /> neighborhood updates, upcoming City <br /> events, new City resources, and other <br /> events and resources in South Bend in a <br /> newsletter-formatted email. <br /> ENGAGEMENT&ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT ANNUAL REPORT 2023 <br />
