Clean and adjust all work at completion of project. Where required, coordinate cleaning <br />schedule with other Trades. Protect work as required. <br />B. Clean and flush all piping systems and verify that all plumbing traps, fixtures and floor <br />drains are clean and clear. Disinfect potable water systems as specified hereinafter. <br />Clean construction dust, metal cuttings, grease and other debris from plenums, coils and <br />other related equipment. Pay particular attention to cleaning (and polishing where <br />applicable) of exposed equipment, pipes and ductwork in finished areas. <br />3.2 COORDINATION <br />A. Coordinate routing of piping and ductwork prior to starting installation. <br />3.3 CUTTING AND PATCHING <br />A. Lay out work carefully in advance, and where cutting channeling, chasing or drilling of <br />floors, walls, partitions, ceilings or other surfaces is necessary for the proper installation, <br />support, or anchorage of mechanical equipment, the work is to be carefully done and any <br />damage to the building, piping, or equipment repaired by skilled mechanics of the trades <br />involved, at no additional cost to the Owner. <br />B. The Contractor is responsible for cutting and patching. Patching shall match existing <br />conditions. Review any concerns about acceptable patching materials, and patching <br />methods, with General Contractor and Engineer, as required. Minimize cutting and <br />damage to surrounding materials as much as possible. Throughout the building the <br />Contractor shall carefully verify existing structural conditions, and shall avoid damage to <br />structural building elements. <br />15050 - 2
