kSINCLAIRKHoRECREATI09N <br />Sinclair Recreation <br />ON -SITE PROJECT SAFETY PROGRAM <br />Sinclair Recreation is committed to provide the most favorable condition(s) for <br />employee safety and health; in keeping with sound business practice and the <br />requirements of the 1970 Occupational Safety and Health Act. <br />It is the policy of Sinclair Recreation to assure; so far as possible; that every <br />employee has a safe and healthful place in which to work. It is also the policy of <br />this company to help each employee recognize his/her responsibilities to safe <br />employment and require that he/she accept these responsibilities and work <br />accordingly. <br />Sinclair Recreation practice safe playground installation techniques. All installer <br />supervisors have completed the following courses: <br />GameTime Certified Installer Training <br />National Playground Safety Institute safety course <br />Sinclair Recreation will assign an individual to act as Safety Representative who <br />will have the responsibility of resolving safety matters, and act as a liaison among <br />Contractors, the Owner and Construction Manager. <br />1. All employees on site are required to report any unsafe act or condition <br />immediately to his / her supervisor. If the act or condition can be safety and <br />easily corrected, the employee or supervisor should make the correction. <br />2. Employees will attend a basic safety orientation; weekly toolbox talks and <br />periodic safety meetings if offered on site. <br />3. Self -inspection of the Contractor's area of control shall be performed to <br />assure compliance with the safety requirements. <br />4.
