Personnel Finance and Public Works Committee <br /> October 26, 1993 <br /> Page 2 <br /> shifted to other projects. <br /> Council Member_ Zakrewski voiced strong dissatisfaction that <br /> no money for concrete roads were taking place. He stated <br /> that his District would continue to suffer. He stated that <br /> his area is in need of concrete work and that delayed <br /> maintenance for another year made no sense. He, also noted <br /> that in his telephone conversation with Mr. Litrell that <br /> there would, be temporary work done but was advised that it <br /> would be in asphalt. Mr. Leszccynski stated that any <br /> temporary work would be in concrete. He also added that <br /> redevelopment had paid for the Philipa Street project . <br /> Council Member Slavinskas question whether the $100, 000. 00 <br /> was always in local roads and streets, and was advised by <br /> Mr. Leszccynski that has always been that way in the past. <br /> Following further discussion Council Member Puzzello made a <br /> motion, seconded by Council Member Luecke, that Bill No. 86- <br /> 93 be recommended favorably to Council.
