SOUM BEND REDF,VELOPMENr COMMISSION— IVY TOWER FACILITY RENOVATION PROJECT Proposal for EnviEVnmentul Servieos 3.0 PROPOSED SCOPE OF WORT 3.1 General A description of the environmental assessment services proposed by Weaver Boos to support the successful renovation of the Ivy Tower Facility Complex is discussed in this Section. Our estimated cost for completion of this phase of the project will be based primarily on unit costs for labor for the Weaver Boos personnel and unit and lump sum costs for the subcontractors who may be involved. The Proposed Scope of Work can be subdivided into four major tasks: Task 1— Site Characterization Task 2 — Preparation of Environmental Abatement Bid Specifications Task 3 — Environmental Response Services Task 4 — Project Management The Scope of Work for each of the tasks is presented below. 3.2 Task 1— Site Characterization Weaver Boos proposes the following sub -tasks to accomplish the goal of environmental characterization of the site prior to environmental abatement and building renovation activities: 1A.Review Exterior and Interior Activities completed by Wightman Petrie, Inc. and others; and, IB. Complete Limited Site Characterization where applicable. 3.23 Sub -Task 1A - Review Exterior and Interior Activities Completed by Wightman Petrie, Inc. and others Weaver Boos understands several environmental activities have been completed by WPI and others for the City as part of the overall redevelopment effort. Several of these activities (Phase I and II ESA) have been discussed in previous Sections of this proposal and the resultant reports have been reviewed to allow Weaver Boos to respond to the RFP.
