City of South Bend Central Services Division <br />Fire Service, Inc./Wheeled Coach Ambulance <br />Specification <br />WK.z.M <br />A top floor of one half inch thermolite board shall be placed over the moisture <br />shield. The thermolite board shall be nonabsorbent, resistant to contamination, <br />will not rot, lightweight, will not delaminate, and has excellent structural <br />capability. The thermolite board shall be securely anchored to the floor sub <br />structure with one quarter inch UNF machine by two and one half inch screws. <br />The flooring shall extend the full length and width of the patient compartment <br />including space under the cabinets. <br />FLOOR COVERINGS <br />The patient compartment floor covering shall be a heavy duty material that is <br />impervious to fluids. The flooring shall be glued to the plywood floor using an <br />adhesive compound. The flooring shall be Lonplate II and the color Gunpowder <br />Gray #424. There shall be no adhesive voids between the flooring and the <br />plywood. The floor shall be designed to roll up the side of the street side and bulk <br />head cabinets and squad bench. <br />ATTENDANT SEATING <br />Seating for the attendant shall consist of a contoured high back padded bucket <br />seat with bolstered seat cushion. The seat covering shall be an easy clean vinyl <br />material and be impervious to blood borne pathogens and other contaminants. <br />Therefore, cloth seats or seats with welting seams or visible stitching will not be <br />accepted. The vinyl shall be gunmetal gray. Seating must meet OSHA regulation <br />1910.1030. The seat belt must be certified to KKK - A1822 - E specification and <br />to FMVSS and shall be an integrated black Per4max harness. An integrated child <br />safety seat shall be incorporated in the seat. Installation shall comply with <br />FMVSS. <br />ATTENDANT'S SEAT BASE <br />10070-0003 11 /05/20 <br />49 <br />
