SECTION 9 — FIXTURES AND FINISHES <br />9-2.3 (h) PAVERS <br />Pavers shall be used primarily within Downtown and Neighborhood Center Districts. Pavers may <br />be used between the back of curb and edge of sidewalk, parking areas on major roadways, or for <br />local roadways. The use, extent and location of pavers, with drainage and maintenance provisions <br />will require approval by City Engineering prior to use. <br />Type IA: Sidewalk Pavers, Decorative (see more information in ,e t 01,,,2::::��.:.6.) <br />Type 1B: Street Pavers (see more information in e tiioim 2 St te ad.kw y , �rlatal�s) <br />9-2.3 6) PLANTERS <br />Planters shall be used where impervious surfaces or underground utilities prohibit the direct <br />planting of vegetation into the ground. <br />Type lA: WAUSAU TF4111, reinforced precast concrete, Charcoal Weatherstone finish <br />Type 1B: WAUSAU TF4124, reinforced precast concrete, Charcoal Weatherstone finish <br />TypeIC: EarthPlanter EPMV41, Urban Vase 41, Millstone finish <br />9-2.3 O SEATING <br />Seating should be attractive, accessible, and easy to maintain. Seating shall be considered and may <br />be required on streets with ground -floor commercial uses, shared use paths, and medium to high <br />pedestrian volumes. Fixtures shall provide seating for three (3) people, such as one (1) 6-foot <br />bench. Bench design shall consider center armrests or other options to minimize prolonged use. <br />Seating may be adjacent to the building facade and shall be 5 feet clear of the pedestrian access <br />route. Seating should be oriented toward points of interest; this can be the adjacent building, an <br />open space, or the street itself if it's lively. Where sidewalk width permits, seating can also be <br />oriented perpendicular to the curb. All seating shall be surface mounted in paved areas in <br />accordance with manufacturer recommendations. <br />Type IA: Black Metal Frame with Decorative Back <br />Type 1B: Black Metal Frame with Gray Inserts and Flared Arms <br />Type 2A: Presidio, (Wood Slats), with back and armrests <br />Type 2B: Presidio, (Wood Slats), without back and armrests <br />100 <br />
