PAINT CHASSIS FRAME ASSEMBLY <br />The chassis frame assembly will be finished with white before the installation of the cab and body, and <br />before installation of the engine and transmission assembly, air brake lines, electrical wire harnesses, <br />etc. <br />Components that are included with the chassis frame assembly that will be painted are: <br />• Frame rails <br />• Frame liners <br />• Cross members <br />• Axles <br />• Suspensions <br />• Steering gear <br />• Battery boxes <br />• Bumper extension weldment <br />• Frame extensions <br />• Body mounting angles <br />• Rear Body support substructure (front and rear) <br />• Pump house substructure <br />• Air tanks <br />• Steel fuel tank <br />• Castings <br />• Individual piece parts used in chassis and body assembly <br />Components treated with epoxy E-coat protection prior to paint: <br />• Two (2) C-channel frame rails <br />• Two (2) frame liners <br />The E-coat process will meet the technical properties shown. <br />AXLE HUB PAINT <br />All axle hubs will be painted to match lower job color. <br />COMPARTMENT LINING <br />There will be eight (8) interior body compartments all body compartments that will be sprayed with Line- <br />X® polyurethane/polyurea material. The floors, walls, and ceilings will be coated. The interior lining will <br />be dark gray in color. <br />Access panels, and component equipment housings in compartments will be removed, painted, and <br />sprayed with Line-X and re -secured so that they can be removed for maintenance. The compartment <br />ventilation tubing will not be sprayed. <br />Associated tracks, brackets, lights, light brackets and wiring will not be sprayed with Line-X. <br />The lining will be properly installed by an authorized Line-X dealer. <br />81 of 89 <br />
