Assistant Director's Report <br />HPC Meeting — 02/25/2008 <br />■ Continued planning works on Restore Michiana. <br />■ Secured $100 sponsorship from Martin's for coffee breaks at Restore <br />Michkana. <br />■ Discussed new Historic District signs with Marcia Qualls @ Public Works. <br />■ Attended Code Hearings regarding 319 N William, 620 and 612/614 S <br />Carroll St. <br />■ Toured the Burke Building. <br />■ Designed mailer for Restore Michiana. <br />■ Designed and mailed HPC Newsletter. <br />■ Met with Common Councilman Henry Davis regarding Monroe Parks <br />and Taylor's Field. <br />■ Completed Preserve America application for South Bend, resolutions <br />held up at Council level. Applications will be submitted for lune 1St - <br />deadline. <br />Conferred with Steve Nemeth and Mike Eby regarding City Cemetery. <br />■ Designing volunteer job descriptions etc., for DAR volunteers at City <br />Cemetery. _ <br />■ Requested inclusion on 3/17/2008 Parbs Board agenda. <br />■ Redesigning City Cemetery road signs. <br />■ Took receipt of Troyer Groups site assessment for People's Church. <br />■ Hung posters regarding RM. <br />■ Toured NNN redo of 508 Lindsey. <br />■ Conducted drive through inspection of S Carroll St. properties. <br />■ Conferred with Monroe Parr neighbors to ensure that deadlines were <br />being met at 620 S Carroll St. <br />
