Provide and erect proper scaffolding to insure a safe and efficient roofing operation. 2. Tear off existing slate roofing and underlayment down to the wood deck. 3. Inspect the deck for deterioration. Any deck requiring replacement to be handled on a time and material add to the contract. 4. Supply and install a 3' wide strip of W. R. Grace "Ice and Water Shield" at all eaves, hips, valleys, walls, etc. 5. Supply and install 30 pound felt dry sheet over the entire roof area. • ROOFING / SHEET METAL / MASONRY RESTORATION / WATERPROOFING MEMBERS: NATIONAL ROOFING CONTRACTORS ASSOCIATION I URETHANE FOAM CONTRACTORS ASSOCIATION SHEET METAL AND AIR CONDITIONING CONTRACTORS NATIONAL ASSOCIATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS: If the work is completed within 30 days of its commencement, payment in full is due upon receipt of invoice. in all other uses, payment o1 95 % of the work completed shall be due upon receipt of invoice covering partial billing with final payment due upon receipt of invoice covering final billing. Non- payment ifaccordance with the above shall be cause for terminating performance. If payments are not made when due, interest, costs incidental to collection and at- torney's fees shall be added to the unpaid balance. Interest shall accrue at the rate of I V, % per month.
