Dear Ms. Bockenkamp, In reference to your request and site inspection by the writer, our proposal is as follows: We have identified and separated five different sections of the roof to allow for easier selection. All specifications will be identical for each of the five sections. • 1. Supply and install all required scaffolding and rigging to insure a safe working condition. 2. Remove all existing slate down to the bare wood deck and cart debris from the job site. 3. Replace any deteriorated wood decking on a time and material basis. 4. Supply and install Ice & Water Shield three feet wide on all eaves and valley sections. S. Supply and install one layer of Tamco SS# underlayment fastened with one inch Simplex nails. This will serve as the underlayment and temporary protection during the. re -roof operation. 6. In all other cases, payment of 95% of the work completed shall be due upon reciept of Invoice covering partial billing with final payment due upon reciept of Invoice covering final billing. Non-payment In accordance with the above shall be cause for terminating performance. If payments are not made when due, Interest, costs Incidental to collection and attorney's fees shall be added to the unpald balance. Interest shall accrue at the rate of 112% per month.
