4. Historic Districts Committee; report read in 615/617 Riverside Drive <br />public hearing. <br />• 5. Landmarks; no report <br />6. Standards and Maintenance; report read in Legal IV. D. 3. <br />7. Personel; Mr. Oxian has passed resumes for the directorship among the <br />HPC members. <br />8. Staff; no report <br />9. Old Business; no report <br />10. New Business; Lora Spaulding was appointed to the Standards and Maintenance <br />Committee. <br />Mr. Oxian directed the commission back to the matter of 615/617 Riverside Drive. <br />Mr. Laskowski exhibits letter from Jerry Gray of Wickes (Lumber) saying that <br />replacement windows will not effect the existing window trim. Discussion ensued. <br />Mrs. Petrass moved to allow replacement windows provided that all trim remain <br />intact painted wood. Mr. Wiener seconded the motion. Mrs. Hostetler asked about <br />the HPC's right to impose a time limit on the project. Ms. DeRose responded in the <br />negative. The motion was passed unanimously. <br />Discussion ensued concerning remaining areas of disagreement. Mrs. Choitz indicated <br />that the piers and steps of the porch should be of a piece. Mr. Laskowski stated <br />the porch columns would be an in-kind replacement of wood for wood. Mr. Wiener <br />moved to allow the replacement of the porch columns provided it was an in-kind <br />replacement, wood for wood. Mrs. Petrass seconded the motion. No discussion. The <br />motion passed unanimously. <br />Mr. Laskowski repeated his concerns about the front porch. Mr. Oxian responded <br />that the porch would be referred to the HDC. Mr. Oxian asked Mr. Laskowski to <br />sign the waiver. Mr. Laskowski stated that he was tired and asked if he "could <br />come in tommorrow and take care of this?" Mr. Oxian responded in the affirmative. <br />Mr. Frederick repeated the approvals granted during the meeting and stated the <br />remaining areas of disagreement to be heard by the HDC. These included: stucco, <br />fasciae and soffits, center window second story front facade, porch railing, porch <br />piers and steps, bead board in porch ceiling, gable build out and half -round louver, <br />metal front door and any change in sidewalk dimensions. <br />Mry.Wihncr: then moved that the HDC would hear Mr. Laskowski's final proposal <br />and that the HDC would make a final ruling on the matter. Mrs.,;Hos.tetler-,seednded <br />the motion. No further discussion. The motion passed unanimously. <br />V. Adjournment <br />The meeting was adjourned at 9:40 p.m. <br />0 <br />
