The vote had been 8-1. <br />5. Historic Landmarks <br />Mr. Herendeen asked whether anything more <br />could be done about a deteriorated porch on <br />1028 E. Wayne. Mr. Pastor said the owners had <br />reapplied for a C of A ( the first one had <br />expired) and said they would replace the porch <br />in the spring. The new C of A expired in May <br />1992. <br />Mr. Oxian mentioned that an aluminum -sided <br />house within the Lincolnway East historic <br />district had been sold to owners who supported <br />the district. These new owners might very <br />well remove the siding. <br />b. Public Relations/Community Education <br />No report <br />7. Personnel <br />No report. <br />S. Staff Reports <br />No report. <br />V. Old Business <br />A. Committee Assignments <br />Mr. Oxian made a motion to abolish the Public <br />relations committee, and to establish instead a <br />maintenance committee. This replacement committee <br />would address problems raised by the new maintenance <br />standards. Public relations could be handled in <br />other ways. <br />Mr. Herendeen moved. to approve; Mrs. Dennen seconded; <br />motion approved unanimously. <br />Mr. Oxian said that, since he had received no <br />requests for committee assignments from the <br />commissioners, he would table the making of <br />assignments. He then read the existing committee <br />assignments, and asked the commissioners to submit <br />their requests by next meeting. <br />
