Monroe' <br />South Bend, IN' 46601 <br />Dear Mr. Panzica: <br />on December' 10, 1984 you contacted the Deputy Director.of Redevelopment <br />Ann'Kolata concerning: the,;dev+elopment of your land in the 600 block <br />• of Lincolnway East,'which wi11 be a vacant piece of property when the <br />house at 601 Lincolnway East is moved. <br />According to the zoning code for the City of South Bend`and the Edgewater <br />Place Historic District booklet published in 1980 any construction within <br />the Edgewater Place Historic District would be required to be reviewed <br />and receive a certificate of appropriateness from the Historic Preservation <br />Commission before permits could be issued and construction could begin <br />at that location. <br />I have enclosed a copy of pages 20, 21, 22 and 23 from the Edgewater <br />Place Historic District booklet which.describes some of the requirements <br />for new construction in the area.
