Ms. Straw presented a Reevaluation Recommendation for 1025 <br />N. Frances to rate the building, which had previously not <br />been rated, a C/9 (see Appendix G). Mrs. Choitz so moved; <br />Mr. Hayes seconded; motion passed; Mr. Oxian abstained. <br />4) Industrial Building Meeting <br />Ms. Kiemnec reported that a meeting will be held on April 25, <br />1985 at 7:30 p.m. at the'Tutt Branch of the South Bend Public <br />Library on Miami Street to present the slide program on the <br />Industrial Buildings Study to industrial building owners. <br />h. Executive Committee Report <br />The Committee recommended that a letter be sent to indicate that <br />discussion of the plans for renovation of the old Central High <br />School had begun. Items needing further clarification are: the <br />new stair tower on the west side of the building, the plans to <br />brick up windows on the west facade at the north end where a new <br />Interior stairway will be built, the entrance on the west facade <br />at the south end of the building, the new parking garage, the <br />greenhouse, and the landscaping. Mr. Oxian moved that the letter <br />be sent; Mrs. Choitz seconded; motion carried; Mr. Newburn voted <br />nay. <br />7. Old Business <br />a) County Maps <br />No Report <br />b) Darden Road Bridge <br />Ms. Straw announced that the Darden Road Bridge was placed on the <br />National Register of Historic Places on March 21, 1985. <br />8. New Business <br />a. Fort Wayne Workshop for Historic District Commissions <br />Ms. Klemnec reminded everyone about the workshop for commissions <br />to be held in Fort Wayne on May 2, 1985 beginning with lunch at <br />11:30 a.m. <br />b.
