Mr. Oxiin also <br />stated that he had a complete clipping file which he would <br />allow the Commission to copy. <br />Lois McMahon next reported that a flat file was needed to --- <br />store the many mounted and matted photographs which, at pre- <br />sent, were lying on the floor of the office. She also mentioned <br />that a slide cabinet or file should be purchased for the slides <br />which had been taken for the Neighborhood Policy meetings and - <br />the County Survey. Mr. Oxian stated that the Area Plan Commis- <br />sion has some upright filing cabinets which it would donate to <br />the Commission. The Consultant said she would check on this, <br />but for blueprints, maps, and photographs, a flat storage case <br />was still necessary. Mr. Oxian made a motion that the Commis- <br />sion approve the purchase of whatever storage units are needed. <br />Mr. Nimtz seconded the motion. After some further discussion, <br />the motion was carried and unanimously passed. <br />Research Assistant's Report <br />Ms. Marsha Mullin reported that she had researched seven <br />buildings within city limits. They are: 405 West Wayne, <br />220 West LaSalle, 319 North Williams, 1104 North Notre Dame, <br />113 West North Shore, 1234 East Jefferson, and the Odd Fellows <br />Building. She is currently working on 601 Park or 407 West <br />Navarre, commonly known as the "Chapin House", and she has <br />started to research some buildings submitted to her from the <br />County Survey. <br />Mr. Oxian reported that he has had almost 10010 success in <br />answers to his letters about designating homes for historic <br />landmarks. <br />7. Old Business <br />Revision of the Ordinance <br />This matter was covered at the beginning of the meeting under <br />the Legal Consultant's report. <br />Resolution # 3 <br />A copy of the Resolution was shown to the members of the <br />Commission with the recommendation that it be approved and <br />passed. Mr. Rothermel made a motion that this Resolution <br />be passed as submitted. Mr. Oxian seconded this motion. <br />There was no discussion. A vote was taken and the motion <br />passed unanimously. <br />Resolution # 4 <br />A copy of Resolution # 4 was likewise shown to Commission <br />members. A question was raised by Mr. Oxian regarding a <br />point in the resolution. It was resolved satisfactorily <br />and Mr. Nimtz made a mfltion that the resolution be accepted. <br />Mr.-'Oxian seconded this motion and it was passed unanimously. <br />
