Lois McMahon next reported that a flat file was needed to --- store the many mounted and matted photographs which, at pre- sent, were lying on the floor of the office. She also mentioned that a slide cabinet or file should be purchased for the slides which had been taken for the Neighborhood Policy meetings and - the County Survey. Mr. Oxian stated that the Area Plan Commis- sion has some upright filing cabinets which it would donate to the Commission. The Consultant said she would check on this, but for blueprints, maps, and photographs, a flat storage case was still necessary. Mr. Oxian made a motion that the Commis- sion approve the purchase of whatever storage units are needed. Mr. Nimtz seconded the motion. After some further discussion, the motion was carried and unanimously passed. Research Assistant's Report Ms. Marsha Mullin reported that she had researched seven buildings within city limits. They are: 405 West Wayne, 220 West LaSalle, 319 North Williams, 1104 North Notre Dame, 113 West North Shore, 1234 East Jefferson, and the Odd Fellows Building. She is currently working on 601 Park or 407 West Navarre, commonly known as the "Chapin House", and she has started to research some buildings submitted to her from the County Survey. Mr. Oxian reported that he has had almost 10010 success in answers to his letters about designating homes for historic landmarks. 7. Old Business Revision of the Ordinance This matter was covered at the beginning of the meeting under the Legal Consultant's report. Resolution # 3 A copy of the Resolution was shown to the members of the Commission with the recommendation that it be approved and passed. Mr. Rothermel made a motion that this Resolution be passed as submitted. Mr. Oxian seconded this motion. There was no discussion. A vote was taken and the motion passed unanimously. Resolution # 4 A copy of Resolution # 4 was likewise shown to Commission members. A question was raised by Mr. Oxian regarding a point in the resolution. It was resolved satisfactorily and Mr. Nimtz made a mfltion that the resolution be accepted. Mr.-'Oxian seconded this motion and it was passed unanimously.
