South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Rescheduled Regular Meeting - January 4, 1995 <br />7. PROGRESS REPORTS (Cont.) <br />Water, Midwest Embroidery, Apollo Precision <br />Machinery, and the Tech Data expansion. <br />Marketed land in the Blackthorn Corporate Park <br />and hope to have a couple of offers in on that <br />land very soon. <br />Designed improvements for the Nimtz - Bendix <br />intersection. Work began on that, but has been <br />put on hold until spring. <br />Acquired a 16 -acre parcel of land from the <br />Airport Authority and are working with a <br />prospect on that land. <br />Completed acquisition of Phase I (west of Fellows <br />AFN Street) in the Sample -Ewing Development Area. <br />Completed the pre- development activities east of <br />Fellows in the Sample -Ewing Development Area. <br />Sold land to Richard Allen for a 13,000 square <br />foot, multi -use building at Broadway and Main. <br />Sold land to Schafer Gear and their building <br />construction is complete. <br />Sold land to the Fire Fighters Federal Credit <br />Union and sold the former Policemen's Federal <br />Credit Union building to them to be moved to that <br />site. <br />Had viaducts painted along Michigan, Lafayette, <br />and Main Streets. <br />I Continued to do all the analysis on our tax <br />increment finance numbers on a semi - annual <br />basis. <br />' -39- <br />
