(,` ES )NO <br />Hoist: <br />The hoist shall have a lifting capacity of 35 tons and shall be equal to a <br />Mailhot cs130-5.5 3 stage double acting cylinder. <br />The hoist shall be designed to operate up to 2,500 PSI and shall be self - <br />bleeding. <br />The hoist shall have a'/4" wall construction with bronze glands and <br />pistons to assure a smooth and durable bearing surface. <br />The glands shall each be a continuous cast bearing, SAE-660 bronze with <br />a tensile strength of 44,000 PSI. <br />The cylinder head and piston shall be of a "ductile" continuously cast <br />iron, with a tensile strength of 60,000 PSI. <br />Each cylinder shall be internally sealed. <br />The inside seals shall be of a u-cup design made of nitrate packing. <br />The cylinder shall have a Melonized/Q.P. Running surface. <br />The Melonized surfaces shall have a predominance of single phase <br />epsilon nitride. The nitride shall cover the entire cylinder surface. <br />This shall give the cylinder superior wear and corrosion resistance and <br />shall have superior wear and fatigue properties. <br />The cylinder rod shall be c1045/c1050 steel with a tensile strength of <br />80,000 to 1,000,000 pounds. <br />The cylinder tubing shall be D.O.M. Tubing, drawn over a mandrel, and <br />shall have tensile strength of 70,000 pounds. The tube shall have a <br />surface harness of 80 Rockwell `B". <br />14 <br />
