Road Reconstruction of Olive Street <br />FROM PRAIRIE AVENUE TO TUCKER DRIVE <br />RELEVANT PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br />M TIZEET EXTENSION <br />FROM "TO IIBODEN ROAD <br />HAMILTON COUNTY, INDIANA <br />The project included the extension of 146th Street from <br />SR 37 to Boden Road. It was designed as a four -lane urban <br />section to allow for a future six -lane urban expansion <br />including a landscaped median, rnuifi-use paths, and curb <br />and gutter. The project included three miles of new roadway <br />combined with pavement reconstruction and widening and <br />the construction of two new bridges, This new roadway <br />serves as a corridor connection between SR 37 and I-69. <br />The project was a fast -track project that was completed in <br />18 months as a joint -venture between Hamilton County and <br />the city of Noblesville. <br />This roadway extension and added travel lanes project <br />necessitated the completion of an Environmental <br />Assessment. Major environmental services investigated <br />during the completion of this documentation included a <br />,oise analysis, wetland determination, and delineation. It <br />also included coordinating with the local MPO to ensure <br />compatibility with the Regional Transportation Plan and <br />air conformity analysis. The project resulted in extensive <br />coordination with the Indiana Department of Environmental <br />Management and the US Army Corps of Engineers due to <br />project impacts upon wetlands. <br />CO ,91NI" RucriOT' $6 million <br />�x�'��Itl�a <br />SPRING ILI � IIIP III EXTENS101114 <br />CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA <br />Spring Mill Road was reconstructed from Main Street <br />to 106th Street. The pavement was reconstructed into <br />a boulevard section with pedestrian facilities and a <br />new roundabout at the intersection of 111th Street. The <br />roadway Included new drainage features with complex <br />hydraulic modeling to account for the existing detention <br />ponds throughout the project limits. The project had an <br />accelerated schedule, <br />The reconstruction included short-term closures and one- <br />way traffic patterns during maintenance of traffic. The <br />project traversed numerous neighborhoods and several <br />key businesses. In order to build a positive project <br />perception, the project team met with the stakeholders to <br />communicate how the project was going to be constructed <br />and the duration of the phases.
