<br />Dale leads our Transportation Team's construction inspection services in the South Bend
<br />office. He performs and coordinates all aspects of field inspection for LPA and INDOT
<br />projects. He has over 35 years of experience estimating, scheduling, managing, surveying,
<br />and inspecting construction projects related to water, wastewater, stormwater drainage,
<br />buildings, dams, and transportation projects. Dale has successfully turned in 14 final
<br />records on -time in the last 7 years.
<br />Dale's experience also includes the contractor side of actually planning, estimating,
<br />bidding, and implementing a project. This experience has been valuable in reconciling
<br />disputes and addressing discrepancies in the plans and specifications before construction
<br />rather than after the fact. He has been involved with numerous federal aid and LPA
<br />projects in both design assistance and construction inspection since 1982.

<br />Cleveland Road Reconstruction - St. Joseph County
<br />» RPR for the roadway reconstruction of the 4-lane section from Riverside Drive to SR 933. This project consists of a total
<br />reconstruction of 5,500 feet of roadway, including replacement of the deteriorated concrete pavement and curb, addition of a multi-
<br />use path, & a pedestrian -activated crossing signal and lighting, please see page 7 for more information
<br />» Construction Cost: $8,287,000 (Federal -Aid LPA) (2019)
<br />Two -Way Street Conversion - City of South Bend
<br />» Project Inspector for this 4-mile project that included asphalt paving, three new roundabouts
<br />equipped with pedestrian -friendly crossways & flashing lights, 28 traffic signal upgrades,
<br />installation of 120 street lights, drainage improvements including new structures & pipe
<br />installation, new concrete curbs & sidewalks, & landscaping, please see page 7 for more
