(Article XV). Once established, the project starting time shall not be changed without <br />mutual consent of both parties. <br />(b) If an Employee is required to start work prior to the regular starting time <br />established in the pre job conference, said Employee shall receive one and one-half (1 1/2) <br />times the regular rate of pay for each hour worked prior to the regular starting time. <br />(c) At the pre job conference, the Contractor shall be entitled to elect working his <br />Employees under one of two options. <br />1. On the basis of five (5) consecutive work days, Monday through Friday, <br />eight (8) hours per day, or; <br />2. On the basis of four (4) consecutive work days, Monday through <br />Thursday, ten (10) hours per day. <br />(d) The option selected during the pre job conference must be mutually agreed to <br />and may be changed only by the Contractor giving notification to the Union five (5) days <br />in advance of such change. <br />(e) If the Contractor elects Option 1, all hours worked by the Employee in excess <br />of eight (8) hours in any one day (exclusive of lunch period) or over forty (40) hours in <br />one work week (Monday through Friday) shall be paid at the rate of one and one half (1 <br />1/2) times the regular rate of pay. <br />(f) If the Contractor elects option 2, all hours worked by the Employee in excess <br />of ten (10) hours in any one day (exclusive of lunch period) or over forty (40) hours in any <br />one work week (Monday through Thursday) shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half <br />(1 1/2) times the regular rate of pay. <br />Section 2. Mason Tenders — It is agreed and understood that Mason Tenders who start <br />work before the established project starting time will be paid one and one-half (1 1/2) times <br />the regular rate of pay for those early hours. <br />Section 3. Sundays and Holidays: <br />a) Work performed on Sundays and Holidays will be paid at double (2x) the regular <br />rate of pay. Holidays recognized by this Agreement are New Year's Day, Memorial Day, <br />Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. (No work shall be <br />performed on Labor Day except to save life or property). On a jobsite where another craft <br />employed by the same contractor has the day after Thanksgiving, the Laborers will be <br />granted the same Holiday. <br />[G <br />
