The <br />project was not a guaranteed energy savings project but the <br />owner was very happy with the overall energy savings of the <br />project. <br />Energy Savings are calculated off of historical data proving that <br />using Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's), Solid State Reduced <br />Voltage Starters (SSRVS), Programmable Logic Controllers <br />(PLC), SCADA, and energy efficient pumps, save <br />approximately $650 per Horsepower (HP) of pump replaced. <br />The savings is based on less energy consumption, better <br />controls, and less maintenance/repairs. This specific project <br />replaced and upgraded 75 HP of pumps and controls. <br />17 <br />
