The average percentage of environmental violations cleaned by owner was 60%(up from 56% in 2017 and 54% in <br /> 2016). <br /> The number of closed housing cases per month consistently surpassed our goal. This is a result of improved policies and <br /> procedures when it comes to addressing substandard housing. Additionally,we continue to work on auditing older <br /> The average percent of animals returned to owner for the year(1.63%)surpassed our goal for the year(1.47%). Our <br /> average of animals sent to rescues or rehabs this year(2.8%) was lower than our goal of 3.4%. in 2019 we will be hiring <br /> a part-time volunteer coordinator to improve the number of volunteer hours. <br /> Staff Changes <br /> We had a few changes to our staff in 2018. <br /> • Tracy Skibins became Director <br /> • Marlaina Johns became Deputy Director <br /> • Chad Hooten was hired as an Inspector <br /> • Rhonda Richmond was hired as an inspector <br /> • Alison Mynsberge was hired as an operations analyst <br /> 1300 County-City Building, 227 W.Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, IN 46601 <br />
