REGULAR MEETING June 10, 2019 <br /> Councilmember John Voorde stated, Councilmember Teshka, veterans, family members, it's a <br /> privilege to even just consider a resolution like this. If you didn't know him, you know now,just <br /> by what you've heard tonight that he truly was a remarkable man. I'm honored to be a part of the <br /> resolution. Thank you. <br /> Councilmember Gavin Ferlic stated, I'm honored to be a part of this resolution and he was a <br /> remarkable man. <br /> Councilmember Karen White stated, I would like to thank Councilmember Teshka for bringing <br /> this to the Council. It indeed is an honor to support such a resolution on behalf of an outstanding <br /> person. Not only was he a judge, but he was so committed to the City of South Bend. I personally <br /> thank the veterans that have given your time and commitment to this country. Also, it is just an <br /> honor to call you Judge Miller's Vets. That is a legacy that will live on and on. To the family <br /> members, we thank you for sharing your dad with us. He was a great man and his life and legacy <br /> will live way beyond the times we will have on this Earth. Again, thank you so much. <br /> Councilmember Tim Scott stated,Thank you, Councilmember Teshka, for bringing this. I am truly <br /> honored, as well. I want to thank the family for being here. You guys in the front row, that legacy <br /> lives on. As you pass that down, I'll remember Judge Miller from you guys.
