<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTIf BEND
<br />ST. JOSEPH COU_NTY,_STATE OF IRDI . ANA, that it is desired and deemed necessary to I
<br />improve Birdsell Street from Washington Avenue to La . Porte Avenue as follows, to -
<br />wit: -
<br />Said Street shall be graded and the.roadway thereof shall be paved; and, also
<br />the roadway of certain portions of the streets and alleys I :which enter or intersect
<br />said'.istreet shall`be graded and paved.'> The paving material to be used in making said
<br />improvement shall be' sheet asphalt,, bitulitihcic,, ashaltic concrete or brick,, and
<br />the foundation shall be portland cement concrete five (5) inches thick for the
<br />sheet asphalt,, bitulithic, asphaltic concrete and brick..or rolled gravel six.,
<br />inches thick for"the,brick, also the cement curb now in place on said street
<br />shall'be,teken out and,a concrete combination curb and gutter shall be constructed.
<br />along said street; storm water inlets, and conduits,, -shall be constructed. where.
<br />,.necessary; all _manhole tops and storm water.inlets shall be set to the proper
<br />grade; cemz_`nt marginal 'curb shall be.constructed at all.streets and alleys where
<br />necessary, all as is more. particularly shown, and all in accordance with hhe plans,
<br />profiles, detail drawings and spec ificatirons on file in -the office of the Depart4lent
<br />of Public Works of the City of South Bend, IndIana,
