PRONG APPROAN <br />MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC <br />The most current plan set details two phases of construction. <br />Phase Uwill construct 19feet ofthe west half ofthe BendixDrive Roadway. The project will maintain one-way southbound <br />traffic byutilizing the existing northbound lane. Northbound traffic will utilize the posted cetournomte.VVevvou|dan�dpate <br />traffic control signnge and temporary pavement markings would be placed so that this sedjon can be utilized for through <br />traffic onthe next phase. <br />Phase UU will construct the 19 foot pavement cross-section of the east half of Bendix Drive. The project is to continue <br />maintaining one-way southbound traffic by utilizing the newly constructed west half of the roadway. Northbound traffic will <br />continue to use the posted detour route. VVeanticipate the multi -use path will be constructed during this phase, as well as <br />final signaUzationupgrades and final pavement markings and signage. <br />The contractor will need to maintain local access as necessary, and within the posted detour route throughout construction. <br />Bill Coleman will work closely with the contractor's Certified Traffic [ontro|SupervisortoensureaUvveek|ys|gnundbarricade <br />reports are submitted properly and on-timo. <br />Northbound traffic will be detoured until construction operations are substantially completed.
