13) Develop Design and Plans for Pavement Markings and Signing. <br />14) Prepare Contract Documents and Specifications for Bidding. <br />C. Monthly Progress Meetings (Hourly Rate) <br />1. Develop the agenda, attend and prepare minutes for monthly progress meetings <br />during the design of this project. <br />D. Utility Coordination <br />1. Provide utility coordination and mapping for design purposes. Utility mapping <br />will be based upon information obtained from utility Owners. <br />2. Contact all Utilities that are anticipated to be located within the project corridor <br />to: <br />a. Notify the Utilities of the proposed project improvements. <br />b. Request utility maps from each Utility showing their facilities that may <br />be located within the project location. <br />c. Evaluate utility maps to verify there are no apparent conflicts with the <br />grinding of existing stumps, tree removal and/or planting of new trees <br />within the tree lawn. <br />E. Limitation of Responsibilities: Engineer shall not be responsible for the acts or <br />omissions of any Contractor, Subcontractor or Supplier, or other individuals or <br />entities performing or furnishing any of the work, for safety or security at the site, <br />or for safety precautions and programs incident to Contractor's work, during the <br />Construction Phase or otherwise. Engineer shall not be responsible for the failure <br />of any Contractor to perform or furnish the Work in accordance with the Contract <br />Documents. <br />PART 2 — ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br />A2.01 Additional Services requiring Owner's Written Authorization <br />A. If authorized in writing by the Owner, Engineer shall furnish or obtain from others <br />Additional Services of the types listed in the following paragraphs. These services <br />are not included as part of the basic services of the Engineer except to the extent <br />provided otherwise in Appendix "A".
