M� Community /Campus Advisory Coalition (CCAC) INDIANA UtiIURSIT) S«UTH BEAD o The April 25, 2012 meeting of the Community /Campus Advisory Coalition was held in the Common Council Informal Meeting Room. The meeting was called to order at 3:32 p.m. by South Bend Common Council Member at Large Member Gavin Ferlic. Mr. Ferlic asked that everyone introduce themselves and to please sign in. Attendees included: City Council Attorney Kathy Cekanski - Farrand, City Council Members Karen White and Tim Scott, University of Notre Dame Representatives Tim Sexton, Jeff Shoup, Mike Seamon, Student Body Vice - President Brett Rocheleau, Campus Housing Manager Patrick Kulisek, Holy Cross College Representative Dan Cochran, Indiana University Medical School Representative Gail. Mancini, Ivy Tech Representative Tracie Davis, Robinson Center Adult Program Coordinator Marguerite Taylor, AmeriCorps Staff Member Luella Webster, Mark Kramer of Kramer Properties, Alcoholic Beverage Board Representative, Mike Carrington, South Bend Police Uniform Division Chief Jeff Walters, St. Joseph County Police Representatives Michael Grzegorek, and Attorney Eric Tamashasky, Attorney Richard Nussbaum, Notre Dame Graduate John Deckert, City of South Bend Employees, Assistant City Attorney Ann -Carol Nash, Paralegal Pamela Paluszewski, ADT Representatives, Linda Sokol and Tom Szekendi, South Bend Tribune Reporter Margaret Fosmoe and Marisa Tati from The Observer. The committee agreed to vote Assistant City Attorney Ann -Carol Nash in as Secretary. Gavin Ferlic asked the committee for updates, particularly relating to the grandfathered properties that may be used for student housing. Tim Sexton stated that they have joined with Cathy Toppel and Kathy Cekanski - Farrand to collaborate on the updating of the properties. Mike Carrington inquired if some of the areas are zoned for multiple - person housing and some for family housing. Kathy Cektanski - Farrand stated that Area Plan should have maps relating to housing. Mark Kramer added that there are sometimes certain exemptions too. Patrick Kulisek stated that wwwrentndu.com was not a Notre Dame affiliated site. It used to be a student initiative but it is no longer and Notre Dame is looking at getting the website name removed. HOLY CROSS Holy Cross Representative Dan Cochran stated that he had no updates.
