b. Playground Improvements: Develop new playground area including equipment and <br />safety surfacing to replace existing play equipment. Playground should serve multiple <br />age groups and meet accessibility guidelines. Incorporate a water play element. Provide <br />accessible routes to adjacent Park improvements and connection with the east upper <br />parking lot. <br />c. Expansion of Water Recreational Uses: <br />1) Replace existing small boat launch with improved launch and boarding dock. <br />Develop accessible kayak launch. <br />2) Evaluate feasibility of fishing pier or designated fishing area on south side of Park. <br />d. Pinhook Pavilion Improvements: Evaluate existing interiors finishes for improvements, <br />includes floor, ceilings and wall finishes. The existing room configuration will remain. <br />1) Identify potential improvements and material finishes. <br />2) Identify corrective actions and anticipated capital improvements. <br />3) Prepare opinion of probable construction cost associated with corrective actions.. <br />e. Schematic Design documents will, as appropriate, contain schematic layouts, sketches, <br />and conceptual design criteria with appropriate exhibits to indicate the agreed -to <br />requirements, considerations involved, and those alternate solutions available to the <br />Owner which the Engineer recommends. For each recommended solution Engineer will <br />provide the following, which will be separately itemized: budgetary project cost; <br />proposed allowances for contingencies; the estimated total costs of design, professional, <br />and related services to be provided by Engineer and its consultants; and, on the basis of <br />information furnished by Owner, a summary of allowances for other items and services <br />included within the definition of Total Project Costs. <br />Furnish 5 review copies of the Preliminary Programming and Schematic Design documents <br />to Owner within 60 calendar days of the Effective Date and review it with Owner. Within <br />15 calendar days of receipt, Owner shall submit to Engineer any comments regarding the <br />Preliminary documents. <br />4. Revise Programming and Schematic Design documents in response to Owner's comments, <br />as appropriate. Identify potential breakout projects if allowable by funding source. Furnish <br />5 copies of the Final deliverables to the Owner within 15 calendar days of receipt of <br />Owner's comments. <br />B. Engineer's services under the Programming and Schematic Design Phase will be considered <br />complete on the date when the revised Schematic Design documents have been delivered to Owner. <br />A1.04 Subsequent Work Phases <br />A.
