Northeast Neighborhood Development Area <br /> There was no business in the Northeast THERE WAS NO BUSINESS IN THE NORTHEAST <br /> Neighborhood Development Area. NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT UREA. <br /> G. Douglas Road Economic Development Area <br /> There was no business in the Douglas Road THERE WAS NO BUSINESS IN THE DOUGLAS <br /> Economic Development Area. ROAD ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AREA. <br /> H. Other <br /> (1) Engagement letter with Sopko, Nussbaum, <br /> Inabnit and Kaczmarek for outside legal <br /> counsel. <br /> Ms. Beth Leonard Inks noted that staff keeps <br /> the city legal staff busy and every now and <br /> then they need to seek addition help. We <br /> have used up the previous $60,000 that was <br /> authorized about nine months ago. We <br /> would like a new $60,000 authorized. The <br /> engagement letter with Sopko, Nussbaum, <br /> Inabnit and Kaczmarek outlines the scope of <br /> services and fee. <br /> Mr. Davis asked if there was any other firm <br /> considered. Ms. Leonard Inks responded that <br /> this letter is a continuation of services by Mr. <br /> Nussbaum. There are ongoing projects that <br /> he has been working on. The Commission <br /> also uses the services of Faegre Baker and <br /> Daniels and Barnes and Thornburg. <br /> Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by COMMISSION APPROVED THE ENGAGEMENT <br /> Mr. Alford and unanimously carried, the LETTER WITH SOPKO,NUSSBAUM,INABNIT AND <br /> Commission approved the Engagement KACZMAREK FOR OUTSIDE LEGAL COUNSEL IN <br /> Letter with Sopko, Nussbaum, Inabnit and THE AMOUNT OF$60,000. <br /> Kaczmarek for outside legal counsel in the <br /> amount of$60,000. <br /> 34 <br />
