02, <br />I <br />Clerk instructed to notify Mr. F. C. Raff to bring in affidavits <br />Frith plats and to widen Scott Street. also Mr. Harry A. Wood for the Samuel <br />Good Plat. <br />Mr.- Chas. Wiedler and Mr. Jackson of Donald Street appeared <br />before the Board and requested that curb and walk be put in together on Donald <br />✓ Street. The Board agreed to notify the Contractor to place curb and walk together. <br />Petition for water conctions on Cherry Street from Rapier Street <br />to Division Street,was read and referred to Supt. Toyne of the Water Dept., <br />The Board ordered the Clerk to place order with Studeabker Corporation <br />for the refilling of ten Horse drawn sweeper brooms, eight feet long. <br />By motion of Mr. J. B. Weber and seconded by Mr. A. H. Rice, two <br />electric fans, were ordered purchasgd for the City Court room and the Engineering <br />Department office. <br />Bond and contract signed by C. L Headley and the London &-Lancashire <br />Indemnity Company of America for grade, curb 4van4walk and gravel roadway on -Donald <br />Street, was approved by the Board, <br />Concerning the improvement of the roadway of Jaquith Court from Prairie <br />Avenue to Chapin Street with asphalt Asphaltic Concrete, Brick.or Bithulithic <br />in pursuance to resolution No.,445 tLs being the day for receiving and opening <br />bids, the Board at 10:00 A.M. publicly opened and read and considered all bids. <br />And thereupon the Board designated Concrete pavement as the kind of <br />pavement with which said street is to be improved and fixes the 2$th . day of <br />July 1916 as the time when petitions must be filed, and the Board hereby continues <br />this matter until the 25th. day of July 1916 at 10:00 A.M. and all bids are hereby <br />referred to the City Engineer for tabulation and report as to the lowest and best <br />bid.
