CONDEMNATION RESOLUTION NO. 44. 1916. <br />Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana; <br />That the following described property be appropriated tor the use of said City; Beginning <br />on the s out h line of lot 23 in So ri n' s Second Addition to the Town .of Lowell now a part of <br />the City of South Bend, Indiana at a point 159 feet west of the westerly line of Notre <br />Dame Avenue; thence northerly parallel to and 158 feet west of the-.wi:.e,erly line of Notre <br />Dame Avenue to a point on the south line of Corby Street; thence ` west -.14 feet-; thence <br />southerly parallel to and 172 feet west of the westerly line of Notre -Dame Avenue to the south <br />line of Lot 19 in st.id Sorin's 2n.d. Addition; thence west on the south line of' --lot 19 in <br />said Addition 14.56 feet; thence southerly parallel to and 156.56 feet west of ' -the westerly <br />line of Notre Dame_ Avenue to the south line .of lot 20 in-Sorin&s .Second -Addition; thence <br />east o-i the south line of said lot 20 Fourteen and fifty six hundredths (14.56) feet to a <br />point 172 feet west of the westerly line of Notre Dame Avenue; thence southerly parallel <br />to cnd 172 feet west of the westerly line of Notre Dame-Av-enue to a point on the northerly <br />line of the First Alley north of South Bend Avenue 126.4 feet east of the east line of <br />St. Peter Street; thence northeasterly on the northerly line of said. alley .9.04 feet; thence <br />nort',-e rly parallel to end 1-A-A. 4 feet east of the e. st7iline )f St . Addition. <br />Notice of this resolution shall be published on the loth. day of June 1916 <br />and. on tits 17th. day of June 10,16 in the South Bend Daily Tribune. <br />This Board, at its office in the City Hall on the llth. dey of July 1916 <br />at-.7.45 P.M. will hear and receive remonstrances from all persons interested in or a 'fected <br />by thes 'e proceedings. <br />Adopted this 6th. day of June 1916. <br />E. Weber the <br />contract for the paving of Fddy" Street from Jefferson Blvd. to MishawaF;a Avenue and Mishawaka. <br />Avenue from Reidy Street to center of Nineteenth Street under Improvement Resolution No <br />417, be awarded to the W. B. Brady Construction Company with Trinidad Lake Sheet Asphalt, <br />and the following resolution was signed, by Mr. Rice and Mr. Weber. Mr. E. B. Brady Construction Vo. is the lowest <br />and best bidder and hereby lets the contract for said improvement to him,) and orders that <br />said impmvement be made with Trinidad- Lake Sheet Asphalt and all proceedings heretofore <br />had in this matter are hereby confirmed and ratified. <br />
