V/ o Hearing given on Improvement Resolution No. 419, for the, Gravel pavement, grading on Pokagon Street from Tecumseh Avenue to right of vay of the Michigan Central Ry. Company In the City of South Bends Ind ie na . Upon said bearing no remonstrators app ea red and no remonstrances were filed, And .the Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that the benefits to pro- perty liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal to the estimated cost of the same,<.s reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted, and tine same is hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved., Resolved further, that notices be published on the 26th. day of Apri1,1916 and on the 3rd. day. of Mpy 1916 in a newspaper of general circulation in said City, stat- ing that this Board will receive bid, for the construction of said improvements up to 10:00 A.M. on the 16th. day of May 1916. The Board reserves the right to reject any and a 11 bids. Hearing had on improvement t Resolution No. 426 for the pipe sewer on v Frances Street from South Bend Avenue to Sorin Street. In the City of South Bend, Indiana,. Upon said hearing no rermonst:ato rs appeared and no remonstrance was filed. Gentlemen: - YOU are hereby now and forever released from any and all liability under your bond No. .54004 in the penalty of 19000.00 executed April 20th.,19151 on the behalf of John Kestler of South Bend, Indiana, in favor of the City of South Bend for the use of the Department of Public Works covering excavations in the streets of said City, arising subsequent to April 1st .1916.. Witness now the executio n of this instrument and release in accordance with the power in it vested and in accordance with the terms and provisions of the above mentioned bond this 25th. day of Apri1,1916.
