The Street Commissioner having reported on the condition of a public drain at rear of lots on Kentucky Street. The Board ordered the Clerk to serve notice as follows on the following persons owning property on Kentucky Street. John G. Bruns, Samuel M. Robinson' William L..Kizerlo Locadio Joziwak, Stephen Jozwiak, Harry Brazy, Joseph Horvath, Ella I. Brown, Jahn & Elizabeth Fears' John H. Fears, Lawrence & Antonina Chelminia,k, Alex & Rosa Salaman, Peter & Mary E. Schafer and Antoni Ku jawski. NOT ICE. That whereas, you have ob6tructed a natural drain or water course across r nd over your. property in the City of South Bend, being on Not No. in La. Salle Park Addition to said City' by building therein and over said course. On Kentucky Street. You are, therefore, ordered to remove said obstruction from such water course and to restore the same to its natural condition within five days from the time of the receipt of this notice, and upon failure to so do, the Board of Public Works shall cause the same to be done, a _c' the expense thereof to be collected from you . Know all men by these presents, That we t. W. B. Brady Construction Company' a corporation: of Chicagol Illinois as princiapl and The Aetna Accident & Liability Company of Hart ford Conn. as sureties of the Coutny of St. Joseph and State of Indiana are held and bound to the City of South Bend, Indiana, in the sum of THlr'TY THOU3AND ( 30,000.00)Dollars for the paym mt of which, well and truly to be made, we jointly and severally bind ourselves firmly by these presents. The conditions of the above obligations are such that if the above bound W.B.Brady Construction Company, a, corporation shall faithfully comply with the attached contract and the drawings and specifications therein referred to( made and entered into this 25th. day of April 1916 with the City of South Bend , Indian, for the pavement of Indiana Avenue from Leer Street to Kemble Avenue and fufill all the conditions and stipulations therein eontai•.ed, according to the true intent and meaning thereof in all respects, then this obligation shall be void; otherwise to remain in f ull force and virtue in few; and in the event said. City Shall extend the time for the completion of said work or Ater said contract in any respect , such extension or alteration shall nbt in any way operate to release the sureties on this bond.
