723 TOW EYES <br />A pair of tow eyes shall be provided at the rear of the vehicle. They shall be recess <br />mounted into the kick plate and shall meet or exceed all standards related to towing <br />capacities and performance. / <br />Y✓N <br />724 BODY HARDWARE <br />All body hardware, all compartment and entry doors shall be mounted on the body <br />with stainless steel screws. All stainless mounting screws shall be dipped in or <br />sprayed with electrolysis preventive solution before installation on the body. This is <br />required to minimize the process of electrolysis. <br />Y v/N <br />7.25 BODY PROTECTION <br />A full-length body rub rail shall be attached to both sides and extend from the body <br />below the compartment doors. This rub rail shall be constructed of 1.5" x 2" x .250" <br />"C" channel aluminum. The rub rails shall be attached to the lower margin of the <br />body skirt using 1" x .25"-20 stainless steel flat head mounting bolts with stainless <br />acorn nuts to the outside and plastic or nylon washers between the rub rail and body. <br />For additional protection and for compliance with state highway requirements, two [2] <br />heavy-duty composite mud flaps shall be installed behind the rear dual wheels. The <br />mud flaps shall extend the full width of each set of dual wheels. The mud flaps shall <br />be black in color. I <br />Y €� N <br />7.26 DRIVER AND PASSENGER CHASSIS STEPS <br />There shall be a fuel tank cover with a recessed double step attached to the <br />passenger side of the chassis cab and a driver side double step with an integrated <br />flip down battery cover and roll out battery tray. The covers shall be constructed of <br />.125" 3003 alloy aluminum diamond plate. There shall be a flip down step installed <br />on passenger side forward and above of the recessed double step. To provide for <br />increased road splash protection and ease of driver/technician entry and exit, fire <br />grade aluminum diamond plate with an open grate diamond back non -slip stepping <br />surface shall be installed on the chassis steps. <br />7.27 STONE GUARDS <br />Y V"N <br />The lower 21" of the front module wall shall have an aluminum diamond plate stone <br />guard TIG welded to ensure a secure fit. Stone guard shall not be screwed or pop <br />riveted. <br />The lower forward corners of the body shall have approximately 21" high aluminum <br />diamond plate rolled around the corner radius and terminate at the junction of the <br />cab and the body. <br />The lower rear corners of the body shall have approximately 16.5" high aluminum <br />diamond plate rolled around the corner radius and terminate at the rear kick plate <br />45 <br />
