They will also suggest project
phasing to ensure prudent use of available
TIF funding. The total fee proposed by DLZ
to conduct the study is $28,500. The NNRO
is proposing a 25/75 split of the fee between
them and the Redevelopment Commission.
This would equate to $7,125 from the NNRO
budget and 21,375 from the NNDA TIF.
Staff requests Commission approval to
allocate $21,375 from the NNDA TIF
towards this study.
Mr. Varner asked how far south will they
address. Ms. Kain responded three blocks
south, both sides of the street.
Mr. Alford asked how much we paid for the
Lakota Study for Eddy Street. Mr. Byrd
replied that this study will go beyond what
the Lakota Study did for us. DLZ will also
do cost estimates and engineering costs for
curbs and sidewalks.
