Indiana statute, <br />I.C. 36-7-14-stipulates that the <br />Commission may not award the bid that <br />does not meet the Commission's offering <br />price until 30 days have passed since the <br />bids were received and opened at a public <br />meeting. <br />Mr. Downes clarified that at this point the <br />Commission is not requesting either <br />developer to revise his proposal. The Q & <br />A session will simply be afact-finding <br />endeavor. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. King, seconded by <br />Mr. Downes and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission directed staff to arrange for <br />Ralph Jones Partnership and the Eco-Urban <br />Collaborative to attend the February 17 or <br />March 3, 2006 Commission meeting to <br />answer questions about their proposals for <br />the Rink Riverside site. <br />(5) Commission approval requested for <br />HVAC services in the South Bend <br />Central Development Area. (Wayne <br />Street garage retail space) <br />Mr. Williams noted that staff requests <br />authorization to proceed with the necessary <br />repairs to the HVAC systems as delineated <br />by Herrman & Goetz in its report of <br />January 17, 2006. The cost of the work is <br />$1,250. This work was promised to <br />COMMISSION DIRECTED STAFF TO ARRANGE <br />FOR RALPH JONES PARTNERSHIP AND THE <br />ECO-URBAN COLLABORATIVE TO ATTEND <br />THE FEBRUARY I ~ OR MARCH 3, 2006 <br />COMMISSION MEETING TO ANSWER <br />QUESTIONS ABOUT THEIR PROPOSALS FOR THE <br />RINK RIVERSIDE SITE <br />29 <br />
