Continued... <br />Three proposals were received for survey work in <br />Areas 3 -6. The first was from Danch, Harper & <br />Associates for $13,575. The second was from Lang, <br />Feeney & Associates in the amount of $10,500. The <br />third was from Ed Fisher Land Surveying Services <br />for $18,500. The staff recommended the <br />Commission accept the proposal from Lang, Feeney <br />& Associates. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Kahn, seconded by Mr. COMMISSION ACCEPTED THE PROPOSAL FROM <br />Faccenda and unanimously carried, the Commission LANG, FEENEY & ASSOCIATES FOR <br />accetped the proposal from Lang, Feeney & PROFESSIONAL SERVICES IN THE SAMPLE - <br />EWING DEVELOPMENT AREA. (SURVEYS - <br />Associates for professional services in the Sample- AREAS 3 -6) <br />Ewing Development Area. (Surveys - Areas 3 -6) <br />q. Commission approval requested for professional <br />services in the South Bend Central Development <br />Area. (Appraisals - Columbia Street Project) <br />Mr. Mathia explained that the 2 properties to be <br />acquired are: <br />348 Columbia Street <br />Vacant lot NE of 350 South Columbia Street <br />These properties are the AEC Building, an adjacent <br />parking lot, and contiguous outlying parking spaces <br />which are on property owned by Key Bank. The <br />parking spaces have been allocated to the AEC <br />Building through a parking agreement among <br />owners of the River Glen Office Park. <br />Two proposals were received for appraisal of the <br />property. The first was from Jerome E. Michaels in <br />the amount of $2,500. The second was from R.E. <br />Pitts & Associates for $2,500. The staff <br />recommended the Commission accept the proposal <br />from Jerome E. Michaels in the amount of $2,500 <br />and from R.E. Pitts & Associates for $2,500. <br />15 <br />
