Public Hearings <br />(3) continued... <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Faccenda, seconded <br />by Mr. Blake and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 2021 <br />ratifying and confirming Resolution <br />No. 2016, designating the Northeast <br />Neighborhood Development Area, declaring <br />the Northeast Neighborhood Development <br />Area to be blighted, approving a <br />Development Plan and conditions under <br />which relocation payments will be made, <br />and establishing an Allocation Area for <br />purposes of Tax Incremental Financing. <br />7. PROGRESS REPORTS <br />Mr. Rock highlighted portions of the <br />Redevelopment Commission End of Year Progress <br />Report as follows: <br />Studebaker Corridor Project <br />► Completed second and third phase of Oliver <br />demolition. <br />► Sold first parcel of land in Oliver Industrial <br />Park to Rose Fuel & Material, Inc. <br />Brownfields <br />► Received $789,790 from the Brownfield <br />Revolving Loan for Fredrickson Park. <br />Airoort Economic Development Area <br />Completed Bosch Phase II. <br />South Bend Central Development Area <br />► Purchased and demolished Franny's <br />restaurant. <br />► Purchased and demolished Blessings music <br />store. <br />G 38 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION NO. 2021 <br />RATIFYING AND CONFIRMING RESOLUTION <br />No. 2016, DESIGNATING THE NORTHEAST <br />NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT AREA, <br />DECLARING THE NORTHEAST NEIGHBORHOOD <br />DEVELOPMENT AREA TO BE BLIGHTED, <br />APPROVING A DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND <br />CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH RELOCATION <br />PAYMENTS WILL BE MADE, AND ESTABLISHING <br />AN ALLOCATION AREA FOR PURPOSES OF TAX <br />INCREMENTAL FINANCING. <br />
