South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting -July 20, 2007 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />B. Tax Abatements <br />continue ... <br />Resolution No. 2360 approving an <br />application for personal property tax <br />deduction for Steel Warehouse on property at <br />2722 W. Tucker Drive. Ms. Jones seconded <br />the motion. The motion failed on a vote of <br />two to one with Mr. Peczkowski opposed. <br />(6) Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 2359 approving an <br />application for personal property tax <br />deduction for property located at 1215, <br />1217 S. Walnut St. in the Sample-Ewing <br />Development Area. (Steel Warehouse) <br />Mr. Downes made a motion to approve <br />Resolution No. 2359 approving an <br />application for personal property tax <br />deduction for Steel Warehouse on property at <br />1215-1217 S. Walnut. Ms. Jones seconded <br />the motion. The motion failed on a vote of <br />two to one with Mr. Peczkowski opposed. <br />C. South Bend Central Development Area <br />(1) Commission approval requested for <br />Authorization for Entry Upon and the <br />Temporary use of public property located <br />within the South Bend Central <br />Development Area. (Wightman Petrie <br />access to former Enzyme Research bldg.) <br />Mr. Schalliol noted that the Commission <br />previously gave its approval for Wightman <br />Petrie to begin doing work inside the Enzyme <br />Research building. They intended to <br />purchase the building and needed to fast- <br />COMMISSION FAILED TO APPROVE RESOLUTION <br />No. 2359 <br />44 <br />
