South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting —June 14, 2011 <br />and then a second contract to do survey work <br />and prepare and complete a rezoning for a <br />parcel of land adjacent to Voorde Park to be <br />transferred to Hoosier Tank. <br />This Addendum is for a contract with <br />Lehman & Lehman to finalize the planning <br />work for the entire property and prepare <br />construction and bid documentation. <br />Lehman & Lehman has submitted a proposal <br />in the amount of $27,000. Construction of <br />the park improvements will cost $350,000. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Varner, seconded by <br />Mr. Alford and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 2894 <br />approving and authorizing the execution of <br />an Addendum to the Master Agency <br />Agreement ( Voorde Park Planning and <br />Construction) <br />E. West Washington- Chapin Development Area <br />(1) Resolution No. 2886 related to acquisition <br />of property in the West Washington - <br />Chapin Development Area (601 -605 W. <br />Washington) <br />Mr. Relos noted that 601 — 605 W. <br />Washington was added to the West <br />Washington Chapin Development Area <br />Acquisition List by Resolution No. 2852 on <br />March 22, 2011. It was added in an effort to <br />clear the non - conforming buildings on this <br />corner in preparation for more appropriate <br />infill housing or a historic house move. <br />The property has a one story, three unit, brick <br />building built in 1960.
