South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting —June 14, 2011 <br />"big box" store and smaller outlot <br />development. Coupled with a proposed <br />mixed use commercial development south of <br />the site on the south side of Cleveland Road, <br />this project will create a strong compliment <br />to the other developments happening around <br />Cleveland Road in the AEDA. <br />Staff requests approval of Memorandum of <br />Understanding by and between Brick Road <br />LLC and the City of South Bend <br />Redevelopment Commission to advance this <br />project. <br />Mr. Varner asked what Hutsfield's <br />commitment is. Mr. Schalliol responded that <br />Hutsfield will start the residential component <br />this fall; they have interested retail tenants <br />that they hope to soon secure contracts with, <br />and they are dedicating the land. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Alford, seconded by <br />Mr. Varner and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Memorandum of <br />Understanding with Brick Road LLC <br />(Hutsfield Square Subdivision) <br />(10) Resolution No. 2893 approving and <br />authorizing the execution of an Addendum <br />to the Master Agency Agreement <br />(Mayflower/Hutsfield Square <br />Infrastructure Project) <br />Mr. Schalliol noted that the Mayflower/ <br />Hutsfield Square Infrastructure Project <br />consists of two projects. The first is the <br />Mayflower Boulevard Construction with a <br />contract amount of $2,499,736.21. The work <br />will include construction of a new roadway, <br />all related drainage and utility work, street <br />lights and pedestrian trail, and a new traffic <br />signal at Mayflower Boulevard and <br />45 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE MEMORANDUM OF <br />UNDERSTANDING WITH BRICK ROAD LLC <br />(HUTSFIELD SQUARE SUBDIVISION) <br />
