a minimum, the following: <br />a. Description of discharge practices, including non - routine <br />batch discharges; <br />b. Description of stored chemicals; <br />C. Procedures for immediately notifying the Director of any <br />accidental or sSlug #Discharge, as required hereafter; <br />d. Procedures to prevent adverse impact from any accidental <br />or sSlug dDischarge. Such procedures include, but are not <br />Iimited to, inspection and maintenance of storage areas, <br />handling and transfer of materials, loading and unloading <br />operations, control of plant site runoff, worker training, <br />building of containment structures or equipment, measures <br />for containing toxic organic pollutants, including solvents, <br />and/or measures and equipment for emergency response. <br />(2) Dischargers shall notify the Director immediately upon the <br />occurrence of a "slug" or accidental discharge of substances prohibited by <br />this dDivision. The notification shall include location of discharge, date <br />and time of occurrence, type of waste, concentration and volume, and <br />corrective actions. Immediate notification may be verbal, followed by a <br />written verification within five (5) days of the incident. <br />(3) Dischargers shall notify the Director immediately if any changes <br />occur at the facility that affect the potential fora slug_ or accidental <br />discharge. Additionally, dischargers_ with an approved slug or accidental <br />discharge plan shall submit a revised-plan if any changes occur at the <br />facility that affect the potential for a slug or accidental discharge. <br />(d)Lc) Hauled Wastewater <br />W Septic tank waste may be introduced into the POTW only at locations <br />designated by the Director, and at such times as are established by the <br />Director._ Such waste shall not violate Section 17 -8 of this Division or any <br />other requirements established by the City. The Director may require <br />septic tank waste haulers to obtain individual wastewater._discharae <br />permits. <br />rmits. <br />(2) The Director may require haulers of industrial waste to obtain <br />individual wastewater discharge .permits. The Director also may require <br />generators_ of hauled industrial waste to obtain individual wastewater <br />discharge permits.
