REGULAR MEETING FEBRUARY 27, 2006 <br />Mr. Sniegowski advised that he and his wife are in the process of purchasing vacant <br />property from the Northeast Neighborhood Revitalization Organization, Incorporated. <br />They will construct a new single story home there. The home will be approximately <br />2,000 square feet and have 7 rooms, 2 bathrooms, and a full basement. The cost of the <br />home will be approximately $250,000. <br />A Public Hearing was held on the Resolution at this time. <br />There being no one present wishing to speak to the Council either in favor of or in <br />opposition to this Resolution, Councilmember Puzzello made a motion to adopt this <br />Resolution. Councilmember Varner made a motion to refer this bill to the <br />Community and Economic Development Committee and set it for Public Hearing and <br />Third Reading on March 13, 2006. Councilmember Kelly seconded the motion which <br />carried by a voice vote of nine (9) ayes. <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />UPDATED FROM COUNCILMEMBERS SERVING AS REPRESENTATIVES ON <br />OTHER COMMITTEES WHO HAVE MET WITHIN THE LAST TWO WEEKS <br />Council Attorney Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand read into the record that a formal appeal <br />has been filed regarding the Historic Preservation Commission denial Certificate 2300 <br />Portage Avenue, on March 27, 2006.
