South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting —March 22, 2011 <br />Upon a motion by Ms. King, seconded by <br />Mr. Downes and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission tabled Resolution No. 2859 <br />adopting a Declaration of Covenants and <br />Restrictions for Ignition Park. <br />(4) Resolution No. 2858 adopting Rules of <br />Procedure: Ignition Park Architectural <br />Review Board. <br />Ms. Hathaway noted that the ARB for <br />Ignition Park consists of five members. There <br />are two positions that are position — specific: <br />the Executive Director of Community and <br />Economic Development and the Director of <br />Ignition Park. There are two members that <br />are appointed by the Commission: Gary <br />Gilot, Director of the Department of Public <br />Works, and Doug Marsh, who is VP and <br />Architect at Notre Dame. The fifth member <br />is appointed by the Common Council. That <br />appointment is Rev. Tim Rouse. <br />Ms. Hathaway noted that these Rules of <br />Procedure define the duties of the ARB <br />relating to review and response to land <br />development applications for Ignition Park <br />and the continual development through <br />amendment process for the architectural and <br />site design guidelines, which were just <br />approved. The procedures also set forth the <br />process for that the ARB in terms of notice, <br />agenda, meeting, and minutes, etc. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by <br />Mr. Varner and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 2858 <br />adopting Rules of Procedure: Ignition Park <br />Architectural Review Board. <br />(5) Proposal for legal services for property <br />acquired at tax sale. <br />11 <br />COMMISSION TABLED RESOLUTION NO. 2859 <br />ADOPTING A DECLARATION OF COVENANTS AND <br />RESTRICTIONS FOR IGNITION PARK <br />COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION No. 2858 <br />ADOPTING RULES OF PROCEDURE: IGNITION <br />PARK ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD <br />
