(iv) Parking curb-cuts should be minimized with shared access points <br /> for multiple businesses. <br /> (v) Parking and service areas should be designed to accommodate <br /> snow removal and storage in relationship to pedestrian paths, <br /> landscape areas, and open spaces. <br /> {t) Signs <br /> (1) Project Signs <br /> The permanent Project Signs (i.e., wall signs, projecting signs and suspended <br /> blade signs) regulated by this sub-Section, are those signs which refer to or <br /> identify a project as a whole and do not provide information regarding any <br /> individual tenant or use within a project. <br /> (A) Building Mounted Project Identification Signs <br /> Due to the limited setback proposed for buildings in "Mixed Use" zoned <br /> area, in order to create a pedestrian oriented design, limited space is <br /> available for traditional free-standing, ground mounted identification <br /> signs. Therefore, unique building mounted identification signs are <br /> necessary to identify the overall project. Such building mounted <br /> identification signs must comply with the following regulations: <br /> (i) Type of Signs <br /> Building-Mounted Project Identification Signs may be: <br /> (a) Wall Signs (Parapet Signs or Fascia-Mounted Signs); <br /> (b) Projecting Signs (Grand Marquee Signs or Blade Signs); <br /> (c) Suspended Blade Signs (which may include pin-mounted <br /> letters attached above or below the suspended blade) <br /> located over major entry ways into a building or a parking <br /> garage; or, <br /> (d) Banner Signs (Fascia-Mounted Banners). <br /> (ii) Size of Signs: <br /> (a) Wall Signs (Parapet Signs) must not exceed forty (40) <br /> square feet. <br /> 39 <br />
