(d) Multi-Family Residential. <br /> (1) Multi-Family Residential Building Massing <br /> (A) Building massing, height, bulk, scale, and proportion must mimic the <br /> existing character of the NNDA and conform to all other provisions of this <br /> SBZO. <br /> (B) In areas of mixed residential building types, the height and massing of <br /> buildings must be no more than twice the height and massing of adjacent <br /> buildings (including buildings located across the street). <br /> (C) New development should provide a transition between differing land uses <br /> and adjacent buildings through the use of step backs, building setbacks <br /> and massing, landscaping, screening, and building articulation. <br /> (D) Building massing should take a rectangular to square form. Angular or <br /> curved building massing is prohibited. <br /> (E) Buildings shall not exceed three (3) stories (or forty feet [40']).
