This is EXHIBIT A, consisting of 22 pages, referred to in <br />and part of the Agreement between Owner and Engineer <br />for Professional Services dated , <br />Engineer's Services <br />Article 1 of the Agreement is supplemented to include the following agreement of the parties. <br />Engineer shall provide Basic and Additional Services as set forth below. <br />PART 1— BASIC SERVICES <br />A 1.01 Study and Report Phase <br />A. Engineer shall: <br />available dStandard text deleted and new text inserted, <br />PHASE 1 - DESIGN AND BID PHASE SERVICES <br />Task 101 — Project Meetings <br />Engineer will attend up to a total of four project meetings with the Owner. The meetings will <br />be held with the Owner at the WWTP site in South Bend, Indiana to update the Owner on <br />project progress and obtain feedback on intermediate deliverables. <br />The kickoff meeting will be held with the Owner to discuss the goals and objectives of the <br />project, to establish the lines of communication, as well as gather data necessary to prepare the <br />design documents. Up to three progress meetings will be held to review the design and status of <br />the project. Meetings will correspond with the Basis of Design Memorandum, 50 percent <br />completion milestone, and 90 percent completion milestone. Two additional workshops will <br />take place: the Solar Energy Workshop will occur after the Basis of Design Memorandum <br />review meeting and the Construction Sequencing Workshop will occur after the 50 percent <br />review meeting. <br />The kickoff meeting will be attended at the site by the project manager, engineering manager, <br />and lead electrical engineer with the electrical project engineer attending by teleconference. <br />The project manager, engineering manager, and lead electrical engineer will attend the three <br />design progress meetings. <br />The Solar Energy Workshop will include a discussion with officials to identify project goals <br />and challenges. The Engineer will discuss costs and benefits of solar power systems, and how <br />Photovoltaic Solar Power could be integrated into the site.
